Adeline Anti Aging Moisturizer Cream with Matrixyl {Review}

Have you recently looked at pictures from 50, 75, 100 years ago of ladies of those years? Have you noticed their faces - faces of 40, 50, 60 year old ladies? Now have you looked at pictures of faces of ladies of the same age in today's world? I don't mean celebrities. I mean snapshots of ladies. Candids. If so, what did you notice?

I tell you what I notice. I notice that ladies or women of 100 years ago, when they were 30 they mostly looked like women of 50 years today. When they were 50, they looked like women of 75 years today. Sad. So sad. Was life that hard? Where conditions such that these dear ladies aged in appearance much faster?

In many ways, life was harder and yes conditions were worse. But then, 100 years ago most women didn't smoke. But even women who lived a life of comparative ease seem older appearing in pictures than women of like age today. Part of this is because today women's labor is lighter - no wash tubs and scrub boards. Part of it is because today's woman is not likely to be helping to pull the plow in the field. And a big part is taking care of our skin.

We take care of our skin by protecting it from the sun. We keep it clean. We eat foods that are agreeable with our systems and that promote healthy living. Because of wonderful transportation and refrigeration, we are able to enjoy fruits, vegetables, and meats in quantity and all year around. This is good for our health and it is good for healthy, glowing skin.

But we also take care of our skin by protecting it from the elements with serums, oils, and moisturizers. There is a multitude of products available for us to choose from - some expensive and some affordable. There are those that seem to do very little and those that seem to give our faces a glow and radiance that makes us feel lovely.

The Adeline line of products has a lovely anti aging moisturizer cream that includes Matrixyl and other wonderful ingredients. I have been using this for about two weeks. I really like it. The moisturizer is dispensed from a little pump bottle which is nice. It is a light weight cream that goes on very smoothly. I sense some scent but not a perfumey scent. It is pleasant and stimulating and the scent dissipates very rapidly. I found it very pleasant to use.

After applying the product and allowing a few moments for it to dry, my liquid foundation makeup was easy to apply and looked good throughout the day. That means, to me, that the moisturizer didn't work against the foundation but rather with it.

This is a product I can recommend as it works for me.
