Her One and Only by Becky Wade (#4 Porter Family Series) [Giveaway]

About the book: After ten years in the NFL, superstar Gray Fowler is accustomed to obsessive fans. But when Gray starts receiving death threats from a stalker, his team hires an executive protection agency to guard him until the culprit is caught. Dealing with bodyguards 24/7 is a headache, especially when one of them is a young, beautiful woman. How can a female half his size possibly protect him better than he can protect himself?

Dru Porter is a former Marine, an expert markswoman, and a black belt---none of which saved her from disaster on her last assignment. In order to rebuild her tarnished reputation, she's determined to find Gray's stalker and, since relationships between agents and clients are forbidden, avoid a romantic attachment between herself and the rugged football player with the mysterious past.

Yet every secret that leads Dru closer to the stalker also draws her closer to Gray. As the danger escalates, they'll survive only if they can learn to trust their lives---and their hearts---to one another.

  2. I was in my junior year of high school when I had my first serious relationship and when it ended shortly after the beginning of my Senior year, I was devastated. Shortly before the Christmas break, I was with friends at a basketball game and a group of young men sat near us. A conversation resulted in a first date and long story short, ended in marriage one year later. I was just eighteen and he was twenty but he truly was AND IS my "one and only". Lord willing, we celebrate forty-eight (Yes, 48!) years of marriage in December. And I contribute part of it to my Porter family roots!

  3. I met my "one and only" at church. I thought she and one of my buddies liked each other, so I rushed into church one Sunday to sit beside her before he could. I soon learned from her best friend that she had had a crush on me for a while and I had no clue. After sitting together in church for a couple of months, I asked her to go with me to our Sunday school class party. She was just a couple of weeks shy of 14 when we had our first date. I was 16. We dated three and a half years and got married. We will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary next month. We met in church and have remained in that church, but more importantly, we have tried to do our best to walk with God all the way.

  4. I met my husband 27 years ago at a church volleyball game. He was a cocky Marine showing off and I was not impressed at first. Needless to say it has been happily ever after.

  5. My husband proposed to me by putting the ring in the popcorn at the movies. I almost chocked on it not knowing it was there. 24 years later happily married still.
